LAN IP Address is the IP address of this product. It must be the default gateway of your computers.
WAN Type is Dynamic IP Address. If the WAN type is not correct, change it!
- Host Name: optional. Required by some ISPs, e.g. @Home.
- Renew IP Forever: this
feature enables the router to renew the IP address automatically when
the lease time expires, even when the system is in an idle state. It
also allows the router to automatically connect to the ISP after the
system is restarted or the connection is dropped.
